NOAH is a national environmental movement. NOAH is working with environmental policy, but we are independent of political parties. NOAH was founded in 1969.

NOAH Energy and Climate is working with energy and climate policy, both in the national and in the international arena.

We follow the climate negotiations and have members accredited to the UNFCCC's Conference of Parties (COP) where climate negotiations between nations are taking place. The summit in Copenhagen is the 15. meeting in the row of climate summits.

NOAH joined the world's largest network of environmental grassroot organisations, Friends of the Earth International in 1986. Friends of the Earth International has member organisations in 77 countries.

In Europe groups in 30 countries are united in the regional network Friends of the Earth Europe
